Urgent Job Opportunity for a Claims Specialist

We have been mandated by our client-a renowned Civil Engineering Construction Company located in Port Harcourt to source for a Claims Specialist for its Contract Department. 

S/He will be in charge of reading and understanding ALL and every aspect of contracts being developed pre-construction and developing strategies to efficiently utilize contract in favour of the Company during Construction. S/He will work closely with the Quantity Surveyors in monitoring and gathering required information on the Project, documenting execution in line with contract, writing contractual letters to client based on claims foreseen.

Requirements: 

First degree in Contract law or Construction law or its equivalent Must have a least 2/3 years’ cognate experience in a claims specialist role Strong work ethic and with good professional outlook (communication and presentation) Knowledge of standard contracts for construction (including JCT, FIDIC) is a must.
