Finally, Nigeria education system get buried alive. Education is the power of the Youth as the youths are the power of the nation.
It's unfortunate that out educational system is finally buried alive. UNESCO benchmark of education budget for every nation as recommended is 26% of their budget, Nigeria case is extremely bad to the extent that our education sector only secure 2.6% of the budget.
This is a deliberate action to disarm the youths from having adequate education. Their wards are graduating from top institutions outside the country with the hope to impose them on the people after sponsoring them with the tax payer's money.
Institutions strike actions will ensue as a result of lack funds, students will embark to dropout among others, yet we have a nation that claim to care for the people.
NANS are muted, SUG are speechless, no action has been taken about the budget.
When ASSU, SANU, SSANU begin strike as a result of underfunding, hike in tuition fee will rise and union bodies of will embark on protest.
VC, Rector, Provost will be attack whereas the source of the phenomenon lies in the hands of government who failed to make adequate provision but they can live luxury life and siphon our common wealth in other countries.
Will the institution management fund the academic calendar from the purse?....
I pity my generation, its better we stand up to the just course to prevent the future occurrence now or never.
