Process Engineer

Location - Lagos



Job brief
We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer to be responsible for the process design, operation and implementation of Oil & Gas contracts with Indigenous Oil Companies (IOCS). The successful candidate will be able to improve industrial processes in order to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability.

Responsibilities
1. Successfully bid for Oil & Gas contracts with the Indigenous Oil Companies (IOCS).
2. Develop, configure and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start up and certification.
3. Assess processes, take measurements and interpret data.
4. Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes under OICs contact terms.
5. Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
6. Perform process simulations
7. Manage cost and time constraints
8. Perform risk assessments
9. Provide process documentation and operating instructions

Requirements
1. Proven work experience of 5 years minimum in process engineering
2. Excellent technical skills with the ability to read designs.
3. Knowledge of process related standards
4. Experience in process simulations
5. Working knowledge of process engineering software packages
6. CAD or AutoCad skills
7. Familiarity with health and safety regulations
8. Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills
9. Degree in Engineering
